Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager with a strong background in Instrumentation & Control Engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in gas/oil-based power projects and should be involved in basic and detail engineering activities. The role requires expertise in the design and operation of various instruments, systems, and equipment used in power projects, with a preference for experience in auxiliary boilers, steam turbines, and steam-water cycle equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on Basic & Detail Engineering for gas/oil-based power projects, ensuring the effective integration of instrumentation and control systems.
  • Prepare and review technical datasheets, specifications, and documentation for instrumentation systems, including DCS/PLC, CEMS, SWAS, and VMS.
  • Provide design solutions for various mechanical systems, such as Boilers, Steam Turbines, Water Treatment Plants, Pumps, Air Compressors, and Dryers.
  • Select appropriate instruments based on application requirements, considering the specifications and performance criteria.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that instrumentation design meets project objectives and industry standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on instrumentation-related issues during project development.
  • Ensure compliance with project timelines and safety regulations in all engineering activities.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Instrumentation & Control Engineering expertise, with strong knowledge of DCS/PLC, CEMS, SWAS, and VMS.
  • Proficient in preparing and reviewing technical datasheets and specifications for instrumentation and control systems.
  • Familiarity with Auxiliary Boilers, Steam Turbines, Water Treatment Plants, MV/LV Pumps, and other mechanical systems used in power projects.
  • Understanding of instrumentation panel design and application-specific requirements.
  • Knowledge of basic operations and design of Auxiliary Boiler, STG, and steam-water cycle equipment is highly preferable.
  • Strong technical knowledge in selecting various instruments per application requirements.
  • Proficient in MS Office for documentation, reporting, and communication.
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide effective engineering solutions.

Minimum Qualification:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Instrumentation & Control, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electrical & Instrumentation, Electronics, or Electronics & Communication Engineering.

Required Experience:

  • 8 to 14 years of experience, specifically in Basic & Detail Engineering in Gas/Oil-Based Power Projects.
  • Experience in O&M, Site Supervision, or EPC Execution roles will not be considered for this position.
