Role Overview
As an Associate – City Operations, you will play a key role in managing day-to-day operations within the Sort Center, ensuring packages move seamlessly through the network. You will be responsible for supporting inbound and outbound activities, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily sort center operations including inbound, sorting, and outbound dispatch.
- Monitor package flow, productivity, and accuracy across shifts.
- Track and report operational metrics to supervisors.
- Ensure adherence to Amazon’s safety standards and compliance policies.
- Coordinate with delivery associates, logistics teams, and external partners to resolve operational issues.
- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance sortation efficiency and customer experience.
- Maintain documentation and ensure smooth handovers between shifts.
Skills & Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work across teams.
- Familiarity with basic MS Excel / reporting tools.
- Graduate/Diploma in any discipline (preferred in Operations, Supply Chain, or related field).
- Flexibility to work in rotational shifts and weekends as per business needs.
