Role Overview

As the Lead – Cyber Security & IT Infrastructure, you will spearhead the establishment and expansion of cybersecurity and IT infrastructure services for the Yamaha Motor Group. Your leadership will be pivotal in setting up and managing a Security Operations Center (SOC), conducting vulnerability assessments, implementing advanced security tools, and providing expert consultancy to international clients.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

• Establish and expand cybersecurity and IT infrastructure services for Yamaha Motor Group.
• Develop and implement strategies for the new business stream, focusing on market needs and client requirements.

Cybersecurity Management

• Set up and manage a Security Operations Center (SOC) to monitor and respond to security incidents.
• Conduct Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Testing (VAPT) on various IT infrastructure components such as servers, network devices, and firewalls.
• Implement and manage advanced security tools, including EDR/XDR solutions.
• Perform security assessments and ensure compliance with international cybersecurity standards and best practices.

Technical Leadership

• Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure IT infrastructure.
• Provide expert consultancy on cybersecurity to clients in the EU, US, and Japan.

Client Engagement

• Communicate effectively with international clients, offering tailored cybersecurity solutions.
• Conduct presales activities, including presentations and solution demonstrations to prospective clients.
• Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across different regions.

Managerial Responsibilities

• Build and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.
• Develop and implement team goals and objectives aligned with the company’s strategic vision.

Qualifications & Skills

• Educational Background: B.Tech in Computers or MCA with specialization in Cybersecurity.
• Experience: Minimum of 12 years in cybersecurity, including hands-on roles and presales.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in cybersecurity tools and processes, including Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT).
• Certifications: Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or equivalent certifications.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, capable of consulting with clients from the EU, US, and Japan.
• Managerial Traits: Enthusiastic about setting up teams and inspiring them to deliver innovative solutions.
• Mindset: A pre-sales consultant and solution delivery expert mindset.
