We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with 4–6 years of experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automation frameworks, test planning, and scripting, with the ability to collaborate across development and QA teams to ensure product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.
- Work with developers and QA teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Execute regression, functional, and integration tests using automation tools.
- Analyze test results, log defects, and track them to closure.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing.
- Continuously enhance the automation framework for scalability and efficiency.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
Skills (Competencies)
Mandatory:
- Proficiency in Selenium / Cypress / Playwright / Appium (any major automation tool).
- Strong programming/scripting knowledge in Java / Python / JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with TestNG / JUnit / PyTest / Mocha frameworks.
- Good knowledge of API testing (Postman, RestAssured, Karate).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
Good to Have:
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Exposure to BDD/TDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow).
- Cloud-based testing knowledge (AWS Device Farm, BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
Experience Range: 4–6 Years
Role Level: Grade – Engineer / Senior Engineer
