Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and integration of insurance technology solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Guidewire Policy, Billing, Claims, Integration, Configuration, InsuranceNow, Portal, or Rating, along with solid insurance domain expertise in Property & Casualty (P&C).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and configure solutions across Guidewire applications (Policy, Billing, Claims).
  • Perform integration with third-party systems and document tools (Xpressions, Thunderhead).
  • Implement Admin data loading, batch processes, messaging, workflows, and GxModel.
  • Customize and modify existing workflows (including Billing Integration).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and adherence to best practices.
  • Work on database queries and procedures using Oracle / SQL Server.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–6 years of hands-on development experience in Guidewire (open to 15 years for senior roles).
  • Strong insurance domain knowledge, specifically in Property & Casualty (P&C).
  • Proficiency in Web Services, XML, Messaging, GxModel, Batch Implementation.
  • Experience with Oracle/SQL Server databases and strong SQL skills.
  • Exposure to SCRUM Agile methodology; CSM certification is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Good to Have

  • Experience with InsuranceNow / Portal / Rating modules.
  • Knowledge of document composition tools (Xpressions, Thunderhead).
  • Prior experience in large-scale Guidewire implementations.
